What the site is for
FIFO Tools helps you turn one confirmed roster date into a longer calendar, and compare two patterns to find shared time off. FIFO here means fly-in, fly-out and rotational work. The site does not calculate inventory costs using the first-in, first-out accounting method.
The roster builder supports common equal-time swings, unequal ON/OFF durations and multi-block sequences. The overlap planner compares independent rosters. Both provide sharing, calendar exports and print/PDF outputs without requiring an account.
Who maintains it
FIFO Tools is an independently maintained project by blackTieV2. It is not an employer roster system and is not presented as an official service of an employer, client or regulator.
How forecasts are made
The planners repeat the blocks you enter, aligned to a known first day of a selected block. Calculations run in your browser. They do not obtain schedules from your employer or adjust themselves for roster changes. The guides show how to verify the dates before exporting or sharing.
Limits and corrections
A forecast helps with planning but does not establish your work obligation, entitlement to leave or legal compliance. Use the employer’s confirmed roster for those decisions, and account separately for travel and exceptions. If you identify a mismatch, the Contact page explains the information useful for a reproducible report.
